With this DIY battery box set from Yixiang, a 48V energy storage solution can be built relatively easily. The special feature of the horizontal box is that it requires a smaller footprint. With this model, multiple boxes cannot be stacked on top of each other. However, it is possible to place and connect several boxes next to each other.

The main components are a robust housing, into which, among other things, battery cells such as EVE LF280K or MB31 are installed, a highly stable JK BMS with 200A, and a 4.3-inch HD touch screen.

The JK BMS 200A guarantees constant current output and precise cell balancing control. It can be intuitively operated via the 4.3-inch HD touchscreen, allowing for real-time data display and parameter setting.

Further components include:

• An integrated bidirectional circuit breaker for double safety protection, effectively preventing overcurrent and short-circuit risks.

• Integrated automatic aerosol fire extinguishing module, active fire fighting, significantly increases battery safety

• Optimized heat dissipation structure with insect-proof grid, efficient heat dissipation, prevents failures due to overheating

• Use of flexible busbars to connect cells and BMS, reduces resistance and ensures stable current transmission

• Equipped with an improved fuse

• Ergonomic, comfortable carrying handle for easy movement and transport

• 4–5 battery boxes can be stacked on top of each other, allowing up to 16 battery packs to be connected in parallel and thus flexibly expanding capacity.

This offer is available in two variants, one with 0% VAT and one with 19% VAT. According to the new legal regulation effective January 1, 2023, purchasing with 0% VAT is subject to certain conditions. These depend, among other things, on the intended use.

It has been legally decided that for the purchase of solar systems, associated components, as well as delivery and installation services, a VAT rate of 0% applies from January 1, 2023, provided certain conditions are met.

The new legal regulation is made in Article 9 of the JStG 2022 and by amending § 12 UStG and adding the new paragraph 3.

If you purchase this offer, at a VAT rate of 0% for photovoltaic products or associated components, you confirm the following points with the conclusion of the purchase, which are mandatory conditions:

• Operation in and delivery to Germany

• You are the operator of the photovoltaic system yourself

• The ordered products will be part of a photovoltaic system with a total installed capacity of no more than 30 kWp according to the market master data register (MaStR)
